Why I Created Apologetics Hub
By Chris Shannon
Over the past twenty years, Christian apologetics has played a major role in my life and spiritual journey. I originally became a Christian through apologetics, as I was deeply impacted by the intellectual case for Christianity and the evidence supporting the truth of the Gospel. The philosophical arguments for the existence of God, the historical evidence for the resurrection of Jesus, and the rational responses to objections against Christianity all helped lead me to faith. Since that time, apologetics has remained one of my greatest passions.
Throughout the years, I’ve been involved in apologetics ministry in various ways. I’ve helped organize conferences, invited apologists to speak at colleges and churches, connected people with educational resources, and participated in conversations aimed at helping believers strengthen their faith and skeptics seriously consider Christianity. One thing I continually noticed was that there are many outstanding apologetics ministries and resources available today, but they are hard for people to find. Many people who are interested in apologetics simply do not know where to begin or how to find trustworthy, high-quality resources on specific topics.
Because of this need, I created Apologetics Hub. The vision behind Apologetics Hub is simple: to create a central location where people can easily access some of the best Christian apologetics resources available. Rather than forcing people to spend hours searching the internet for reliable information, Apologetics Hub brings these resources together into one organized and accessible platform.
Currently, Apologetics Hub consists of a website and a Facebook page, with plans to launch a YouTube channel in the future as well. The goal is for the ministry to continue expanding into a comprehensive online hub for apologetics content, education, and outreach. As technology and media continue to shape the way people learn and engage with ideas, it is more important than ever for Christians to have accessible digital resources that help them understand and defend their faith.
One of the unique strengths of Apologetics Hub is the wide variety of resources it connects people to. It includes links to apologetics ministry websites, podcasts, YouTube channels, Facebook pages, books, educational curriculums, online learning programs, college programs, conferences, camps, and clubs. Instead of attempting to replace or compete with existing ministries, Apologetics Hub seeks to support and promote them by making their resources easier to discover. There are many gifted Christian scholars, speakers, writers, and ministries doing incredible work in apologetics today, and Apologetics Hub serves as a bridge connecting people to those resources.
This is especially valuable for people researching specific topics. For example, if someone is searching for Christian apologetics resources related to Islam, they often have to search through numerous websites, videos, and articles scattered across the internet. This process can be overwhelming and time-consuming, especially for someone new to apologetics. Through Apologetics Hub, however, users can quickly locate links to Christian ministries focused on engaging Islam, apologetics books on the subject, conferences, debates, YouTube channels, and other educational materials all in one place. The same concept applies to many other areas of apologetics, including science and faith, the reliability of the Bible, philosophy, morality, cults, world religions, and cultural issues.
Another major purpose of Apologetics Hub is to equip Christians to confidently defend their faith in an increasingly skeptical culture. Many believers today encounter difficult questions about Christianity from friends, coworkers, professors, or social media but do not feel prepared to answer them. Unfortunately, some Christians struggle with doubts because they have never been exposed to the intellectual foundations of the Christian faith. Apologetics Hub exists to help address that problem by making trustworthy educational resources easy to find and accessible to everyone.
In today’s culture, apologetics is needed more than ever. We live in a time when many people are questioning truth, morality, meaning, and the existence of God. Christianity is frequently challenged in universities, media, entertainment, and online spaces. Young people especially are constantly exposed to competing worldviews and objections to Christianity. Many leave the faith because they feel they have never heard good answers to difficult questions. Apologetics Hub seeks to be part of the solution by helping people discover credible, thoughtful, and intellectually serious Christian resources.
I invite you to check out Apologetics Hub and consider subscribing to the newsletter. The newsletter is a short email sent out periodically to inform subscribers about new apologetics resources, important apologetics-related news, upcoming events, and other valuable information.
Also, check out the Apologetics Hub Facebook page and consider following it. The page is regularly updated with the latest interviews, presentations, debates, and apologetics resources from leading Christian thinkers and ministries. Recent posted videos have included:

If you know others who may be interested in this information, please consider sharing it with them.
Looking ahead, I hope Apologetics Hub will continue growing into a widely used resource that serves Christians, seekers, students, churches, and ministries around the world. The future YouTube channel will provide another opportunity to create original apologetics content, discuss important issues, highlight valuable resources, and interview Christian apologists and scholars. I also hope to continue building partnerships and expanding the reach of the ministry so that more people can benefit from the wealth of apologetics material available.
My own life was transformed through apologetics nearly twenty years ago, and I believe apologetics continues to play a powerful role in helping people come to faith, strengthen their beliefs, and engage the culture thoughtfully and effectively. By bringing together the best apologetics resources into one accessible place, Apologetics Hub seeks to serve as a valuable tool for anyone interested in defending, understanding, and exploring the Christian faith.
Soli Deo Gloria,
Chris Shannon

Faith-Affirming Findings: 50 Archaeological Discoveries that Validate the Historicity and Reliability of Scripture
If the Bible is inspired and inerrant, then the archaeological record will affirm it. And it does. In Faith-Affirming Findings, Bible scholar and Dallas Theological Seminary professor Dr. Paul D. Weaver examines fifty of the most important archaeological discoveries that confirm the historical reliability of Scripture.
Each discovery—from ancient inscriptions to burial sites—sheds light on the biblical narrative and reinforces the trustworthiness of God’s Word. In this intricately designed, 360-page volume, Dr. Weaver discusses findings such as the “House of David” Stele, the Moabite Stone, Hezekiah’s Tunnel, the Lachish Relief, the Cyrus Cylinder, and more.
Inside you’ll find
detailed descriptions of each artifact, site, and its biblical significance,
over 100 full-color photos that bring the findings to life,
the locations of museums where these artifacts can be viewed,
extensive bibliographical resources for deeper study,
over 450 footnotes, a glossary, and a biblical passage index, and
links to supplemental study material.
This comprehensive volume is an interactive learning experience for everyone, whether you are a pastor, teacher, student, or simply someone seeking stronger confidence in the reliability of Scripture. Faith-Affirming Findings will inspire your faith and deepen your understanding of God’s Word by demonstrating how archaeology consistently supports the Bible.
“Dr. Paul Weaver’s new book, Faith-Affirming Findings, is a treasure-trove of well-organized, accessible evidence for the truth and reliability of the Bible. If you’re a Christian seeking to encourage and inform others, or a seeker investigating the claims of the Bible, Faith-Affirming Findings will open your eyes to the rich world of archaeological corroboration. Faith-Affirming Findings will be a welcome addition to the libraries of believers or first-time investigators.”

Plato’s Revenge: The New Science of the Immaterial Genome
First there was the genetic revolution—the discovery that physical structures in the cell, including DNA and RNA, shape every organism. Now, says evolutionary biologist Richard Sternberg, we are overdue for another and more profound revolution. Recent findings reveal that genetic and even epigenetic sources alone cannot account for the rich dynamism of life—not even close. Some other informational source is required.
The idea was anticipated 2,400 years ago in Plato’s Timaeus, and periodically revisited in the ensuing centuries. Sidelined by scientific materialism, it is now reasserting itself on the strength of cutting-edge molecular biology, higher mathematics, and commonsense reasoning. In Plato’s Revenge, science writer David Klinghoffer takes Sternberg’s profound explorations and weaves them into a lively and accessible account of a most remarkable realization: At every moment, we owe our lives to a genome that is more than matter, and to an informational source that is immaterial, transcomputational, and beyond space and time.
“There are more things than are dreamt of in our materialist philosophy—not just in heaven, but right here on earth. At a time when this is becoming newly, exhilaratingly apparent, David Klinghoffer’s wonderfully readable book explores some breathtaking implications of the latest natural science in an area—genetics—that touches deeply on our origins, our characters, and perhaps our souls.”

The Gospel After Christendom: An Introduction to Cultural Apologetics
Since the fall of Christendom, Christians in Western countries can no longer assume their neighbors share basic familiarity with the Bible or even a sense for God. We now face a strange mixture of apathy and antagonism toward the gospel. Some people view Christianity as yesterday’s news. For others, it’s the source of today’s problems. Lately, though, more and more are open to the idea that Christianity may be tomorrow’s hope.
Cultural apologetics can help uncover opportunities to proclaim the gospel as the only way to fulfill longings for truth, beauty, and goodness. Churches that embrace this approach can be strengthened and renewed as they demonstrate an appealing and convicting way of life that stands out in the world.
In The Gospel after Christendom, scholars and practitioners from the Keller Center for Cultural Apologetics define cultural apologetics, explain its biblical and historical grounding, and demonstrate its importance for the church today. Their diverse viewpoints, united in the gospel, offer a balanced approach that can guide Christians to share the Good News with their neighbors in this challenging but exciting time.
“Cultural apologetics is not new; it retrieves a historic, holistic, and hopeful approach to Christian witness. This volume helps us reckon with the cross-pressures of our secular age, its apathy and activism, hubris and despair. These authors show us how to listen more carefully and testify more convincingly to the beauty, goodness, and truth that is found in Christ alone.”
— Justin Ariel Bailey, dean of chapel and professor of theology, Dordt University

Awesome, Chris!
This should be a great resource. I built "Disciples Report" years ago to try to capture attention for these kind of apologetics resources. After a while, I realized that my work was best done by writing on my personal blog.
Then I thought to build "Apologetics Events" to let people search their area for upcoming events with speakers like Koukl, Wallace, etc. Lee Strobel convinced me that it probably wouldn't be all that helpful for the apologists themselves, so I scrapped it.
I do manage Richard Hess' website. That's pretty fun. I hope Apologetics Hub really takes off!
So excited to see this site full of resources. I recently did a list of online apologetic resources at Medium and have added Apologetics Hub. I will probably have to expand it as I wander through your list. Here is my list if you want to compare:

Thank you very much for providing this resource. May God bless it and you mightily!
