Thank you for another fine article, Chris. The occult is real because Satan is real. I dabbled with the occult when I was a young teenager, then became an atheist in college. The occult does not take you to a good place. One of my older cousins was a Christian dental missionary in Africa in the 1970s and he returned home after four years on the mission field with many occult stories. It is real and dangerous. Unfortunately, Christians (or those who claim to be) are playing around with various aspects of the occult. Even pastors are involved to varying degrees. They are inviting the enemy into the Christian camp and no good will come from it. Thank you again for your article.
I believe I got that info from Amazon. If you click "See all formats and editions" there, and then click "Hardcover," the edition info says "5th or later edition." That may not be accurate, but doing a quick search, I can't find any information listed on previous editions. Maybe the publisher(s) chose not to designate new versions with edition numbers?
I do see what you've pointed out. I believe there is an error on Amazon. There are 6 editions of the Kingdom of the Cults, but only one (that I'm aware of) of the Occult.

Very wise observations, Mark!
I believe your reference to Kingdom of the Occult is incorrect. There is no 5th edition.
