This was a pleasure to read. It's always fascinating to hear what esteemed Christian philosophers share their thoughts on subjects related to their personal journeys. I know I've mentioned this before, but would love to hear a round-table discussion sometime on what the group considers the best philosophical defenses of Atheism, as well as some of the leading defenders of Atheism? Hopefully it can be a good resource to encourage Atheists to get more into philosophy as well.
Thanks for the kind comment (by the way, who's commenting? You guys have a few people on your team, if I remember right). Thanks for the reminder about that roundtable topic. Maybe we can do something along those lines next, after the one we have in the pipeline for Sept. I appreciate the even handedness and collegiality you guys exhibit. Those are rare virtues!
Hello Chris. We do have a group of people on team, though we also have quite a few anonymous folks that are currently in the closet and work in the background (you're speaking with one of them now). We appreciate you taking our topic into consideration. Some of our favorite articles from Dr. William Lane Craig are when he is review Graham Oppy's "Arguing About Gods" and J.H. Sobel's "Logic and Theism". Though he disagrees with the works, he clearly respects them a great deal, as well as their authors and its fascinating to get an insight of how an esteemed Christian philosophers views the best of Atheist philosophy.
And thank you again for your comments, we echo the sentiments back to you as well. We try our best to practice intellectual virtues that we'd want to see in our opponents as well, since we believe they are most conductive to arriving at truth.
